I believe we all have some vague consciousness that we should do something to make our email more secure, but it takes an informative and well-written book like Hackproof Email to bring our concerns into the light. The author Joe Sinclair careful examines the vulnerabilities of the email system to hackers and the risks we take every day. But he doesn’t stop there. Mr. Sinclair has found a reasonable defense to those vulnerabilities in the robust suite of secure services offered by RMail.
Indeed, you would come away from this book haunted by the risks inherent in the email system were it not for the defenses to such risks provided in the book both using RMail and other techniques to defeat hackers. Using what you learn in the book, you can sleep soundly knowing that hackers can’t easily hack email users who use smart security functions and who follow security guidelines.
Perhaps the best lesson in this book is that security doesn’t have to be an arduous or expensive chore. Security can be convenient and inexpensive, and the effort it takes to employ security procedures is minuscule compared the effort it takes to remedy even a minor malevolent breach of security.
With these concerns in mind, I recommend Mr. Sinclair’s book for those who want make their email hackproof after some painless reading.
